About Me

Hi, my name is Nancy, I started Happiness Doesn’t Diet because I’m fed up with DIETS!!! Right now there is an overabundance of anxiety and negativity surrounding women’s bodies. I’m going to show you simple ways we can change that!

I see many women denying themselves foods they love and crave. I see women not fully enjoying their life because they’re not their ideal weight, clothes size, etc.

The unhealthy diet, deprivation, self-hate cycle has no boundaries. It doesn’t matter if you are rich, poor, educated, uneducated, married, or single. Bottom line, so many women aren’t living their best life, and I’m going to change that.

Let’s call bullshit on diets. Diets suck! Diets focus on negativity and deprivation.

Let’s turn the diet way of thinking and behaving upside down! It’s time for women to have a peaceful relationship with their body.

I’m going to rock your world with ideas, inspiration and practical steps you can take to put an end to dieting for good! I want every woman to feel amazing and have everything she wants in life.

I’m not selling anything other than the concept of a healthy, happy relationship with your body.

Through my blog, I’m candidly sharing my life with you. I’m not hiding or leaving anything out. I’m showing you the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I love food. I’m not obsessive about what I eat. I enjoy everything in moderation.  I enjoy exercise and have consistently done so the last 18 years.

In writing this blog, I never want to present myself as an obnoxious “know it all.” I’m writing my blog with you in mind. Sharing my personal stories so that you can learn from my mistakes and successes equally.

I’m vulnerable because I think someone has to start! It might as well be me. The world could use more vulnerability. I also don’t want to be fake. There is too much of that already! I’m getting real with y’all!

I aim to make Happiness Doesn’t Diet fun to read. I don’t take myself too seriously and either should you. I want to inspire every woman to lighten up and have fun. Life is meant to be fun.
