Dreaming has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been dreaming for as long as I can remember. I dream because it makes me happy. I don’t really get to caught up in if the dream actually comes true. I also don’t worry about how it will get done.
Why is dreaming important? The Law of Attraction can answer that. The Law of Attraction states, what you think you get. What your mind can see will eventually materialize in life. That means we get what we focus on. According to the teachings of Abraham-Hicks, anything I can imagine being, doing, or having-I can be, do, or have.
Now I know a lot of people might think this sounds too easy or even a bit crazy. They might say your living in a dream world, that’s not reality. I say not so.
Here’s how daydreaming, visualizing, fantasy, or whatever you want to call it works. Again, referencing the teachings of Abraham-Hicks, by visualizing the desired outcome, the perfect action is always inspired. We start with a dream, then actions will follow.
A dream is kinda like a blueprint of what you want your life to look like. Once you have the dream you can then build the life you want.
The trick to making this all work is being in alignment. What is being in alignment? Simply put when you’re in alignment you feel good, you feel joy and happiness. So while you ladies are daydreaming make sure you feel great. If your dream takes you to a place where your feeling anxious, or unhappy, simply switch gears, to a dream that makes you feel amazing.
You internal guidance system lets you know at any given moment if you’re in alignment. It’s easy, the better you feel the more aligned you are. The worse you feel the more out of alignment you are. It’s okay to be in a funk, that’s going to happen. The trick is to reach for good-feeling thoughts so that you get back into alignment. My go-to for getting back into alignment is appreciation. When I appreciate I feel so good.
Appreciation can be big or small. Feeling appreciation when you find a parking spot is the same as appreciating that you got into the college you want, your family is healthy, or you avoided a potentially bad accident. Vibrationally speaking appreciation is the same regardless of what you are appreciating. That means you don’t have to come up with BIG reasons to feel appreciation (of course you certainly can). I just want you to know that any little thing you appreciate is a step in the right direction.
You might be thinking I’m so busy, I don’t have time to sit around and daydream. I completely get it! Dream while your commuting to work, driving the kids around, exercising, before bed, in the shower. I guarantee you can find time to dream. It’s so fun and it’s sure to bring a smile on your face and giddiness in your heart. No pressure dreaming is fun!
It occurred to me that there might be some generational differences when it comes to dreaming. I grew up in a time where there was less to do, less TV, less video gaming options etc. When I was a kid during a long car trip there was a lot of time to just stare at the surroundings and dream. I didn’t have an I-Pad. Kids during my time had less to do, fewer practices, less everything so we had time to dream.
Technology is great! Everything in life unfolds the way it should. I’m just wondering if my kids and the generation before them might benefit from getting a little bored from time to time so that they can turn to their imaginations and dream.
I’m going to wrap this up with a quote from Napoleon Hill, “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve”.
Dream, Beautiful Girl, Dream!
